The "2024 Spring/Taoxichuan Art Fair", organized and hosted by Taoxichuan Art Center, was held in Jingdezhen, China's world-famous porcelain production center, which was selected as the "World Capital of Handicrafts and Folk Arts" by UNESCO. 217 ceramic artists and academicians from 34 countries participated in the ceramic fair held between April 29 and May 5. Representing Turkey, a team of six people, including faculty members and graduate students from our university's Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Ceramics and Glass, were invited to the fair.
Prof. Buket Acartürk, Assoc. Dicle Öney, Lecturers Mustafa Erden and Tuba Marmara, Research Assistant Beyza Usta and Ceramics and Glass program graduate student Emine Keskin exhibited their ceramic works at the stand reserved for Sakarya University during the fair. In addition, the artistic works of the team met with the audience at the International Modern Ceramics Exhibition organized within the scope of the fair.
